Hi from Kansas
Hi, my name is Linda and I'm a friend of meterr and her mom....
I hail from Kansas. I've been looking for a new board to be a part of, since the one I was on has closed......Terri recommended this board and I've been lurking, so today decided to join. I'm hoping to get back into the spirit of scrapping as it has been since March that I really scrapped.
I am a grades 6-12 Band and Choir teacher and love it. My preference is choir and voice, but do enjoy the instrumental part of it as well...my instrument was/is Flute. I have 2 children in which both just had birthdays. My son just turned 22 on Sunday and my daughter just turned 20 on Monday...so I no longer have any teenagers at home...but as I was reminded recently, as long as I teach I will have teenagers...I am married, but will not go into that...not worth my time...
I've been scrapping for about 6 years now, when my now 76 year old mother got me into it...I enjoy heritage creations, but aren't they all heritage by the time we get the photos developed or printed off...
I look forward to getting to know everyone! and I hope that this forum is the kick start that I need to get the mood back to scrap!

Welcome Linda
I'm a Linda too, from Brisbane, mum of two girls age 14 and 12, and working full time so get little time to scrap, but love it. Got into it nearly 11 ago through a CM party.
Hope to see you around regularly

Hi Linda,
I'm Emma and a newbie to this all, too. Flutists inspire me - I love that instrument. I hope your scrapping mojo starts flooding soon.

Hi Linda,
Welcome, I'm sure you will like it here. I'm a muso as well. I taught classroom music as well as instrumental music for grades 7-10. At the moment I'm a stay at home mum but I keep my hand in teaching instrumental mainly brass instruments at my church. I am also a singer and that is my real passion in music. I have been scrapping for 12 years and love it and have recently gotten into card making in a big way.
I hope that you enjoy being part of this group they are a great bunch of ladies and I'm sure your scrapping mojo will come flooding back in no time.
Take Care
Sharon
