Michael Jackson Empty Michael Jackson

Post by suszu Wed Jul 08, 2009 1:49 pm

I am not normally a person to be fanatical about things but this time is an exception. As a huge fan of Michael Jackson I am so so very sad that he is no longer with us. From a young age I have listened to his music probably on a daily basis. I don't care about his wackiness or the other things were said about him. I just honestly believe that without his music my life wouldn't be the same, such happy memories. His music is always played at every family gathereing and my friends can always count on me to provide MJ's music at any party. One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't get to see him live, I guess I thought I would have a lifetime to see him but sadly that was not the case, I was so looking forward to his comeback concerts in England and was praying that he would make it to Australia. I don't really know why I have posted this just wanted to say something about MJ-the greatest entertainer in the world. I guess for me his charitable work, his quest for perfection in his craft and the ability to make people feel great through music was something that had a huge influence in my life. I have already watched the memorial twice and I guess will watch it again this evening. RIP Michael we will miss you.

Although I wasn't a huge MJ fan, my ex husband was, so I was lucky enough to see him in 1996 when he came to Brisbane. The show was absolutely sensational, he was an amazing presence on stage. He will definitely leave a gaping hole in the entertainment world.
I found the sight of his grieving children and family at the memorial service today very touching, his daughter's speech brought a tear to my eye.

Yeah i'm watching bits and pieces of it now on nine and the news...no matter what everyone thought of him, to his kids he was their father, first and foremost! May he RIP!

I hope his kids are able to have a sense of normalcy in their lives. It's tragic for them to lose their father and that's about as much a positive as I am able to say on the situation... sorry if I've offended any MJ fan's.

ditto to that!

I think he was taken the wrong way, and I think he had a lot to deal with growing up in the spotlight like that!

Ashan is a BIG fan, I love his music too, and so do the kids - we're watching the repeat of the funeral now Sad so sad.... specially for his kids!

😢 R.I.P Michael Jackson...

That is so sad. He made such beautifull music.

Goodbye to a loving man.
