8) Hi I am Meterr's mum. Just an old hippie from the 70's but now all the recycling and saving the Earth has become popular. I don't do anything any different than I did then. I recycle, plant my own vegetables and take the buses everywhere. I am also in Michigan about 60 miles north of Detroit. If you are not familiar, the states are divided into counties, and our country is the worse financially in the entire US because of the problems with the car manufacturers.

I love to scrap and alter, I am working on my genealogy (I have distant relatives in Australia) and I enjoy just about any craft that I have tried. You could say "you name it and I have probably done it and if I haven't, I enjoy a good challenge." I am half way through working on my Bachelor's Degree in Science and I would like to be an Engineer when I grow up! :lol!: I am glad to be here and am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi there and welcome aboard! You have chosen a good time to join us as there is LOTS going on!
I have heard about what is going on in the Detroit area, its terrible. Things can only get better though. (Well they certainly can't get much worse for some.)
I did a Bachelor of Science too, only my major was Public Health. As I am currently a SAHM, I haven't got much chance to use it, but hope once I've got kids in school, I'll be able to put it to good use.
Look forward to seeing your work and getting to know you better! Very Happy
