Detour 1!!!!

I included all three criteria and a photo of my son posting a postcard home from NZ

My entry includes an envelope with hidden journalling inside. Here it is:

the displayed LO's from everyone are fantastic!! here's my sub for 'detour#1'...its not on my blog yet as I;m giving it to my friend (Sam) for her birthday next week...hope she likes...in this LO I've used 3 of the beautiful Cabachon flowers and twine from the amazing race kit Thanks to Top50 for the fun and fabulous challenge; Woops just realised I forgot to add my criteria...the little tag on the left hand side has a 'confidential/hidden' journal/message for my friend TFL all xxx

Here is my take. Detour 1.

1. Envelope with hidden journaling, pull up red heart and journaling is there
paper also has stamps on it.

Here is mine with hidden journalling and multiple envelopes

I've used a tiny faux envelope bottom left hand corner cluster.

I went with the hidden journalling!

Here's my detour layout. I've gone with the hidden journalling; it's in the lolly bag behind the photo. The bag was white but I coloured it to match the background using gesso and distress stain and then used paint with a foam stamp over the top. The journalling will stay well and truely hidden as I've recently separated from my husband (this is an old photo!) and sadly the look on his face in this photo reflects his attitude to life. Instead of being happy that our daughter was born perfectly healthy he was upset coz she wasn't a boy (and then he preceded to raise as if she was!).
The background is much greener than it looks in the photo and blends with the stamped flowers a whole lot better but the light's fading and I couldn't capture the colours properly.

I went with the hidden journalling that you pull out under the photo the envelope and stamp were blown away! (hehe)

I have used an envelope and hidden journaling on a tag that goes under the photo. Loving all the wonderful inspiration - keep it up ladies.

Just uploading my entry for the Detour! I went with hidden journallin, making a tag out of a Shipping Tag, and journaling on it. Normally it is going to sit under the photo!

Love Notes to my little man.
I've added two envelopes - the large kraft one in the background as well as the tiny polka dot vellum one with a heart inside.

I went with hidden journalling too. Under the photo! (Just scraping in with the deadline I think!)

Finally got time to do my detour. I have used hidden journalling - the gree diecut tucked under the right hand side of the photo and a stamp of a peacock.
