Hi Retta! So glad you made it here! It is nice to see another friendly face (you will already know some of our other members too.) You got here just in time for the CC! (Hopefully you will get a chance to dive into some of our challenges.)

Hi Retta, and welcome. I used to live in Balwyn a few years ago and moved back to north qld (it gets to cold down there for me).

Ill agree to that! Darling partner loves the fishing and it is not too far from the family back in Adelaidekylie01 wrote:Hi Retta, and welcome. I used to live in Balwyn a few years ago and moved back to north qld (it gets to cold down there for me).

Re: hello from vic
Wow you have been busy! I've been working a bit more lately (as a cleaner/librarian assistant) so scraping is/has been on the back burner. What sort of dog do you have?
I've got a 8 year old maltese who now has arthritis in both hips and recently pulled the tendons in her hind leg.............we had weekly trips to the vet for injections which is sad.She no longer gets to go for walks because she gets too excited and sometimes hurts herself

We have a 4 year old Blue Heeler. That is sad. Have you tried to take her swimming, it is a lot gentler on the joints. my little girl absolutely loves to go to the beach but if you live in the city you might be able to find a place where they take dogs to do rehab!

Re: hello from vic
Hi Retta,
my little girl is slowly getting there with having a bit more weigth on her hind legs - she can stand (cautiously) on the passenger seat & look out the car window - she hasn't been able to do that for a while now. I live in a little country town so there is no rehab & the closest beach is nearly 3?????? hours away. I've never actually tried to see what she's like at swimming or if she even likes it. The closest thing to it for her is a bath in the laundry tub
