I have woken up and can hardly move. My back has like seized up. I couldn't take photos or watch my girls do their Easter Egg hunt, I was in bed. Luckily hubby was hand to take the photos- they are very excited, so funny since they both don't really like chocolate- they don't take after their mother that's for sure!

Much better now thanks Kristal and Deb, got some meds into me and that helped and managed a nice afternoon stroll with the kids down to the lake and the park. (and even did a few baskets of ironing last night eeek!)

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Kate. Today is the last day of our holidays so doing all the usual back to school and work stuff. I am not looking forward to getting back to the routine

That has gone quick! I kind of wish school was going back here tomorrow :/ The school holidays have been busy for us and I still have my husband home on holidays for another two weeks- which is like having an extra child home shhh don't tell him I said that haha

Big day here, Speech Therapy for Annika, Piano lessons for Heidi and grocery shopping.

My last day of being 28 today. 30 is fast approaching.. please tell me it isn't bad???

My DD (7) does piano lessons too - she LOVES it!!

First day back at school and kindy today ... phew!! LOL It's been SO QUIET here today!! :yeah:

oh Quiet would be nice Chloe!! I am jealous. That is great that she loves piano- my mum wanted Heidi to play so she pays for her lessons. It is a great creative outlet for her and something she can do on her own away from her sister I wish I were coordinated enough to play, my mum put me in piano lessons as a child and I sucked. I think mum is happy Heidi is enjoying much more than I ever did haha.

I tried to have a nanna nap.. but too much screaming and fighting going on.. then hubby came and lied down on the bed and fell asleep and now I am up being the referee... hope I get a break for my birthday haha!!

30 is great. I would love to be 30 again instead I am a bit too close to 50 for my liking. No idea where the years have gone Shocked

thanks Deb! I am going to be 29 tomorrow, I have spent most of today wondering where the past 29 years have gone, and realised that I have spent 1/3 of my life with my husband and have been with my husband longer than the time I had with my Dad as he passed away when I was 9. So strange how life pans out. I hope this year will be a good one, you just never know what lies around the corner.

p.s. you don't look a day over 30!

Is Canberra buzzing with people for ANZAC day Ali? We usually go to our local service but we have thunderstorms and torrential rain here today. If it were just Mick and I we would go as it is quite important to us, but I know Annika wouldn't cope.

Yeah Kate, the Royal visit plus ANZAC Day means the city is pretty packed. Chilly but perfect weather for the Dawn Service, it's always so beautiful but eery to see the huge crowd (over 35 000) appear out of the darkness as dawn breaks.
