I had some time today so I've created my week 2 entry. It was really easy for me. I got #4. I chose Clean St and I've used a polaroid frame (from my little kit).

This week I travelled down the Freestyle Freeway, and LOVED it!!! Very Happy
Bright page with doodling - lots of both - check!
Unusual journaling technique - journaled around the outer edge of my LO (definitely unusual for me!) - check!
Doilies - used both paper & crochet (aside from the obvious ones, there are a few paper ones also included in the background layering) - check!

I got Retro Road, loving it. I cut out the lady and the title from an old Simplicity sewing pattern. The lady in the photo is my mum in the 1930's, and she used to sew all her own clothes. Quite apt I thought..lol

This week I landed on Freestyle Freeway; bright colours with doodling, unusual journaling technique - I used stamping and hand writing and poking out from behind the photo and paper is a heart doily.

Week 2 Styles, this week I was lucky enough to land on Freestyle. For this challenge I based my layout on black as I feel this makes the bright colours pop. I used a white gel pen for the doodling and a template for some. Doilies are paper and rub ons. The creative journaling is hidden under the photo

Week 2

Post by Joolz on Sun Oct 20, 2013 10:46 pm

I landed on chance so I chose to do the Media Mall elements and included a chipboard polaroid frame.  I used a chevron mask and spray ink in the background, I have newsprint on the chevron patterned paper and I have both a paper and crotched doilies.  I am quite happy with how this one turned out!
