August Chat!!

Another month, another lot of challenges!! I know i say this every month, but this year is completely flying by!! We have decided to postpone the cyber crop we had planned for this month, due to the upcoming event we have planned for you all, so we will only be having the monthly challenges, but may also throw in a blind scrap or something like that during the month, if we think you have all completed the challenges too quickly!! lol!!

My challenge is up a little early, and Ant and Sarah will get theirs up as soon as they can. I think they are both working, so they may be up late arvo/early evening! In the meantime, you can have a play with my ch and see what you come up with!

I am going to celebrate how lucky I am. Got a rather nasty tummy bug that is going around. Drag myself to load to gallery in time for deadline. Running late to finish July swaps.

Then early hours of morning I passed out in bathroom ( never done that before) . Found myself in bathtub, wet from having bumped tap on, and my poor husband trying to help. So very lucky I only have bruises.

Omg Annette! Are you ok? Must have been a bit shock for you and your hubby! I hope u r sitting with your feet up resting today!

Yep, bit scary. Doc said lucky not to have broken something. Rest and fluids ( and iPad haha) .

Oh wowsers Annette, so glad you're ok. That must have given you and your poor husband a fright. Lucky he was there to rescue you.

I'm going on a retreat this weekend (a little local one that raises money for our breast cancer support group) so I plan on having all the challenges done by Sunday

Yeah lucky you Ali! I'm going to the scraphappy Kat retreat the following weekend so I am hoping to get them done then!

I'm sitting in local cafe tomorrow for the longest morning tea/ lunch I can manage in the hope of meeting someone famous ( clue: he is on my list of people i would most like to meet)

So it is either Bill, Hugh or the Dali..... My guess would be Hugh?

I did get 2 new tyres on my car, so parking was not the hassle it would otherwise have been. And I have some photos of "Ukon, Canada" complete with fake snow and logs. Might nick down when its dark cause word is that is when he is shooting some street scenes. He did do a meet and greet to some lucky children from the primary school opposite film set. I saw their bright happy faces as the teachers( all female and also with a glow in their cheeks I might add) led them back to school. Very exciting for them.

ive done all the challenges now......just waiting for the august album in the gallery then i will upload there.......thanks for the great challenges this month

One done, two to go. Scrapping has top priority today !!!

I was doing well. Just haven't had time. I was going to scrap today but feel pretty crappy. Still might though. I really wanted to do Vicki's challenge.

I completed a second challenge today and I really hope to get the last one during the week - fingers crossed.

Sarah's challenge in gallery, Vicki's challenge nearly finished, but can't decide what to do for Ants. Glad there are still a few more days left.

Can the challenges be done in smash books? as I mainly smash now

The power is out, the kids are happy, hubby is snoozing, what better to do then pull out my scrapping stuff and have a play! I have Sarah's ch done, just need to do Ant's! Lucky I had a sneaky play yesty and got some wet embossing done!

I can't see why not Michelle, as long as all the criteria is met and it's 11x8.5 inch or larger!
