I dread all big storms since the one that fried my computer recently.

As GDT this month I got to have a play with a couple of the challenges during the week. I had heaps of fun and hope you enjoy doing them as much as I did...

Pete is home from hospital (for now).
He has to go back to hospital for more tests tomorrow (heart and lungs).
The did a DVT test today to make sure there were no more clots in his leg that could move through his body. Apparently one made its way thru his heart (thank goodness it was a small one) and there's still one in his lungs. He has to have injections every day for 20 days to try to prevent more clots but this increases the risk of more internal bleeding from the 15cm x 4cm tear in his hamstring. His leg is still really swollen and is now several shades of black and purple.
It's his birthday today, so it hasn't been a particularly happy one for him, but as for Caity and I... we're extremely happy that we still have him to blow out his 38 candles...

It's been awhile, I have some "scrappy" in me, so am hoping to keep in going.

Did an online class on the weekend and has helped me alot to get back into the 'swing.'
