Summer TV thoughts? Empty Summer TV thoughts?

Post by Julie M Wed Jan 13, 2010 5:37 pm

I once was a huge TV watcher, but not so much anymore....

I was thinking last night what I miss and what I am watching over the Summer "non ratings" period.

I love The Unit and am enjoying it being back on, but I read it has been cancelled Summer TV thoughts? Icon_sad

I was really looking forward to watching Three Rivers with Aussie Alex O'Loughlin but it didn't make it past 1 ep here. I even emailed Channel 10 I was so dissapointed! Summer TV thoughts? Icon_evil

I LOVE my Supernatural boys..... Summer TV thoughts? Drunken_smilie

I was a Prison Break girl too...

Lie to Me is very interesting and I now pay attention to all of my facial expressions Summer TV thoughts? Icon_lol

Bones is good too.... and Criminal Minds....

maybe I watch more TV than I thought!

These are my fave shows;

I love The Unit too! (Yes, sadly it has been cancelled after Season 4)

I loved Prison Break which is now over

I loved Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (cancelled)

Lost

24

None of which I ever watched on TV - I've got them all on DVD! Smile

Supernatural, Lie to Me, Dexter, Spicks and Specks, My Family and repeats of Vicar of Dibley.

Have caught some episodes of Accidentally on Purpose which is quite good (but should be on later).

Another Supernatural girl here ( Summer TV thoughts? Herz those boys!!!), Survivor (Samoa is rockin'), Californication, Nip / Tuck, Weeds, ER, but can't wait until a lot of the "regular" and new shows start! Summer TV thoughts? Icon_biggrin
My DP is especially looking forward to the 'mini' series, The Pacific (from the makers of Band of Brothers), so no doubt I will get caught up in that one too.

It's so sad when great shows come to an end, I was devastated when they cancelled All Saints and also when the Sopranos ended. Summer TV thoughts? Icon_sad

DH did get me Prison Break on DVD as they stopped showing it for awhile and then started without advertising, but very late at night and I missed it! I am slowly getting through them Summer TV thoughts? Icon_smile

I agree Megan, Accidentally on purpose should be on later, such a bad time now.

How I met your mother is back soon and is good for a laugh, but again on at a bad time.

I just saw that ER is on at a better time so hopefully I can catch it more often Smile

I was the same with Prison Break Julie - did not know it was back on and missed several episodes of it. Summer TV thoughts? Icon_sad I caught a few after that but missed some crucial parts to the story!
Damn TV station!!! Summer TV thoughts? Icon_evil (I think it was Channel 7...name & shame!)

We loved Prison Break too, but the same, kept changing. I was a bit the same with Brothers and Sisters, but I've gone off that now.

Forgot to say I watch Ugly Betty when I remember it's on! Grant Bowler from Blue Heelers is in Ugly Betty ATM and it's quite bizarre.

Me too! Summer TV thoughts? Icon_biggrin (It looks spectacular!)
Shannon is a total war "nut" and after watching it on TV (and having to wait a week between episodes), I bought him the box set as soon as it came out. He then sat down and watched the whole thing in one go!

We've got the box set too! We love DVD 'cause there's no ads and we can watch it whenever. DH is a war "nut" too - not just movies but books, docos etc. It's a very intriguing and interesting part of history!

My fave comedy tv shows would have to be Fawlty Towers and Seinfeld. ROTFL!
