Stepping up onto the stage to collect my uni degree was definitely a shining moment for me! Not only did it take 5 years to complete, I also worked full-time to support myself through. Add to that a marriage, subsequent divorce, moved house, changed jobs and countless other things along the way. It was also made all the more special that my mum & dad (who divorced when I was young) were both there together to see me get it.

Wow, Sue, that is fantastic!

My shining moment was when I was Godmother to my two BFF daughters.
I felt so proud to have been chosen as both my friends have large families.

I guess my shiniest moment was my very first modelling contract as the "Face of Southlands" and seeing myself on flyers, 4-page newspaper liftouts, newspaper covers, catalogues, and 1,000 billboards, resulting from this! (Plus getting all the $ was pretty shiny too! lol!)

Probably the one and last time that I decided I needed to get a fake tan . I was shinning bright yellow for days....

Mine would be when I finally broke down some walls that I had put up for soooo long. Paul was sooo supportive and helped me through it all.

Mine was graduating University after 6 years of working 3 jobs & being freshly diagnosed with Bipolar. I was the ONLY person in my family to have gone to Uni (the others only made it to year 10).

passing my nanny course after the person in charge got me into her room and said i wouldnt pass.

Mine would be having the Chief Commissioner (at the time it was Christine Nixon who is in a spot of bother at the moment) hand me my badge after graduating from the Police Academy almost 8 years ago. Lots thought I'd never make it and for a while neither did I.

Oh.. I knew you would Cuz!! You look hot in your uniform too!! lol!! Not for too much longer tho, with that growing belly!! lmao!!

My shining moment would have to be competing in School athletics in Adelaide in long distance running having come from a very small school, and being approached by a coach, to train under him. Unfortunately i was unable to tho, cos it would have meant a 4hr round trip to adelaide every week!!

I usually try to take small moments and make them shine like they are the greatest, moment by moment!

Today for example, my mobile phone fell out of my pocket and into...the loo... Well I have successfully dried it out and got it working again. All-By-My-Self! DH is away and I would usually go to him without attempting to think for myself. So for today, my shining moment, was fixing my phone! Pretty basic stuff, but I went from feeling like a fool to feeling chuffed!

Well I guess my shining moment was the first time my bff's and I went to see Ross Noble. We wore cheap flashing tiaras form the $2 store (see shining) which of course Ross couldn't resist nattering about for about 20 minutes.
We got to meet him after the shower which was awesome, and the first timw of many

My shining moment was playing netball for Qld (obviously a few years ago!) Netball was my life, and now never again after my knee op ....
