Design Team Call - Handmade By Suzanne

Handmade By Suzanne is looking for 2 Design Team Members to be a part of our Design Team.

Handmade By Suzanne launched late in 2009 and is a regular sponsor of a number of sketch blogs and top sites. At present we have 3 Design Team Members, myself, Marelize Frisby & Kathy Baker. Our goal is to provide an online shop with top quality products at reasonable prices. Over the next few months we will be introducing competitions and tutorials whilst significantly expanding the already wide range of brands and products offered.

If you would like the opportunity to showcase your fantastic work and be a part of a rapidly growing business at grass roots please read on!

Design Team Submission Requirements:
Submit two of your favorite layouts using any products. (Preferably products that are currently stocked within the store however need not have been purchased from Handmade By Suzanne).

You will need to have an active blog, please provide a link.

Please give a brief resume of anywhere you may have been published, taught or other DT positions (at present and past).

Applications must be submitted via email to suzanne@handmadebysuzanne.com.au

Applications close 10 May 2010.

Successful applicants will be notified by 15th May and announced on our site
shortly afterwards. We will be considering all creative styles given the variety of products currently offered in store.

Requirements of a Design Team Member:
Designers are required to submit 2 layouts and 1 card per month by the due date set using the DT package sent out each month.

Designers will need to produce a Sketch for 1 of the above layouts which may be used in competitions or form the contents of a kit.

It is our intention to introduce step-by-step tutorials on the site for members so when this is launched we would like to rotate this task monthly amongst the team.

The length of commitment is for a period of 6 months.

Designers would be expected to make comments in the gallery (where appropriate) on other member’s submissions particularly when we launch the competitions on site.

DT members will be required to load their layouts, cards and all other projects into the gallery by the due date.

It is expected that DT Members will promote Handmade By Suzanne and our products wherever you can and agree to post such information on your personal blog.

Design Team Benefits:
Design Team members will receive product monthly and this will vary in value from $25.00 to $45.00 in which to design from. The pack may include older release stock.

Purchase products from the store at a discount rate of 20%.

Handmade By Suzanne will actively promote your blog on our home page, blog and gallery. With your permission we would like to publish a brief resume about you on our site.
