Challenge 1: Sue's Challenge

This month my challenge to you all is a fairly simple one...a scraplift!!!

For those who don't know what a scraplift is, it is basically when you copy someone's layout in whole or in part using your own choice of materials. You can scraplift a layout however you like - it is YOUR interpretation of the layout. As a rule of thumb, when you scraplift another person's layout, it is usually appropriate to say who you "lifted" the layout from if you are displaying it publicly, and layouts created from scraplifts should not be submitted to competitions or magazines.

Back to the challenge...
Your challenge this month is to scraplift the layout I have created with the additional criteria of:
- including a quote (of your choice)
- incorporating at least 2 elements visible on my layout (eg, you may choose fabric / staples / doodling, etc)

Yes it is real denim. It came from an old pair of kids jeans that Mandy bought for us to cut up and share. (So if you see the same denim on one of her LO's you know why. ) I think I will be making a trip to my local op shop to see what else I can pick up to cut up (better than buying new fabric!)

I've finally completed this...been sitting on my desk for over a week just been so busy lately. Anyway...thanks for the inspiration Sue, absolutely loved your layout, was great to scraplift it. Will upload over the weekend...haha, got to kick my kids off the other computer to do so

WOW Sue! LOVE your page - its such a gorgeous layout to lift!!! i'm mad about misting at the moment, so that will def be one of my elements!!! hope i can get time to do this one just stunning!!!
