We all want to know what tools are the best in the business so why not tell us about the tools you use to do your digital scrapbooking. There are a lot of cameras, printers, programs etc. What have you found most beneficial to use to creative beautiful digi layouts?

I use Microsoft Digital Image Suite but this program has been discontinued so I'm on my way to gettting PhotoShop.

I get alot of elements from free downloads but digital items are very cheap to buy, I have also bought alot from digital stores (both Aus and USA). Very Happy

I've only just found this thread! I use Photoshop CS2 - it's a relatively simple program, but not cheap! I couldn't imagine scrapping with anything else.
I've tried PSP - couldn't find my way around it at all!
The Gimp - which is free - is a very good program, with all the features of PS, but has added steps, which, even with a walk through, I found difficult! Of course, my limitations aren't your limitations, so try a few and choose one which suits you!
I wrote more on this and other subjects on the thread in the Digi Class forum...

okay ladies - I need your input!!!
I am putting together a tutorial for a layout using the photo you did last week...I need to know what programs you are using...I use Adobe Photoshop CS2. It would be easy for my to write the tut using this prog, but not a lot of use if no one else is using it!!!

I use PSP 9 and have just started experimenting with Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2. I love my camera - a Fuji 8100 - takes beautiful pics and my poor printer is dead. I am saving up at the minute to buy a Canon A3 printer so that I can print out my 12 x 12 layouts at their correct size.

I am also a tutorial writer. I write tuts for PaintshopPro and have just started writing tuts for PS CS2 as well - (can be found on my tut site www.scrappintutz.blogspot.com). I love my PSP as it was the first programme I used but CS2 has its merits too.
