Challenge 2: "Shagadelic 70's!"

Subject: Challenge 2: "Shagadelic 70's!" Sat Oct 10, 2009 12:10 am

So much happened during the 70’s…the Vietnam war ended; the hippie culture peaked and began to fade; the continued rise of feminism saw women establish increased social and political equality; environmentalism gained momentum; the birth of computers; disco, glam rock, heavy metal and punk were all new entrants on the music scene; “Jaws” began the era of blockbuster movies, terrorism marred the Munich Olympics; the Watergate scandal…

Three particularly iconic images from the 70’s were painted combi vans, disco balls and mini skirts, so for this challenge you are going to represent each of them by scrapping a layout using:
- hand decorated white cardstock
- bling
- a minimalist approach

Entries will need to be uploaded into the Let’s Go Retro! Crop gallery - Shagadelic 70’s Challenge by midnight, October 28^th. The winner of this challenge will receive a “shagadelic” Sassafras Lass prize pack valued at $20.

Hmmmm - very interesting. I have a photo picked for this one already, just making it work will be interesting!

Just a little heads up, hand decorated doesn't just mean hand drawn!!

It could be stamped and coloured!!

I haven't started ch 1 yet, but i am doing this one tonight!! Smile

I printed my photo today and have it all planned in my head!! Hopefully it looks just as good on paper!! Smile
