Challenge Three by Sue

Independence Day in the USA is all about celebrating the good old "red, white & blue", so my 'independence' challenge to you all is a colour challenge featuring (you guessed it...LOL) RED, WHITE & BLUE!!!
For this challenge you wil need to create a layout using red, white & blue as your colours. (And yes, any shades of them are acceptable.)
But that's not challenging enough, so I would also like you to include the following criteria...
- a neutral coloured background (white / black / Kraft)
- raw chipboard
- string / twine / thread or cord
Here is my example layout for you...

Well this one was a challenge for me but I preserved and have finished will upload tomorrow night...off to pack the lunches for rugratz and I might have one more attempt at the next challenge will look soon

I hope to finish this one tomorrow It's coming together reasonably well - I wish I could sit down and just scrap though... I hate when Nathan works weekends - actually during the holidays hahaha it stifles my working capabilities ROFL

LMAO Treens, i have Matt home and that is stifling my scrapping time!! 
Although i have been able to sit down and do a little bit during the day cos i don't think he is game to say anything after being away for a week and me having sick kiddies!! lmao!!

LOL no he wouldn't dare would he ROFL It's handy to have another person here I can revert the arguments to I think the kids are missing the routine of school, I'm hoping **fingers crossed** **knock on wood** **sending a prayer** that once they go back on Monday they'll start to settle down a bit more... Aleks for some reason had in his head that he couldn't make friends at school because we would be moving in 12 months time - no idea where he got that from, but now we've set him straight I'm hoping that he'll start to make friends and properly settle...
