I am sure that almost everyone has seen the spectacular pictures of the amazing red dust storm that engulfed Sydney earlier today...a very rare sight. The dust storm also made it's way up to SE Qld and left us (and everything in its path) coated in a layer of dust....yuck! We could see it coming on the horizon up here on the Sunshine Coast, and by early afternoon the strong winds had blown it right in. It was very eerie ... It was screened on the ABC the other night and featured a skit that was poking fun of the Make a Wish Foundation, who grant wishes to terminally ill children. For those of you that haven't seen or heard about it, they were promoting the "Make a Realistic Wish Foundation", saying that you shouldn't spend too much money on the kids because they "are going to die anyway".
