Ch 1: Sue's Challenge

My challenge for everyone this month is to create a layout using the following picture as inspiration. You can use the picture however you like to inspire you - you can use it as a sketch, use the colours, create a Christmas-themed layout - anything, as long as you have used the picture in some way.

The only additional criteria is that you need to use paint somewhere on your layout!

The prize for this challenge is a Kaiser mini album kit!!!
Entries for this challenge need to be uploaded to the "Sue's Challenge" folder in the December Monthly Challenges album in the gallery by midnight, December 31st.

Mine is done and in the gallery. Might try to take a better photo sometime tomorrow though, not the best at night . . .

I have a photo all ready for this, but have had no time to scrap it. Maybe sometime next week....?

I couldn't seem to add mine to the gallery so am adding it here. I used the red and gold colours on the title and Merry Christmas as a stand out..because that is what Santa says as he goes by in his sleigh! LOL

I have just finished this challenge so i will take a pic and upload tomorrow!!

Here tis!! You can probably tell which parts of the pic were my inspiration. The cs is all painted. It was white swiss dots cs, that i had sprayed with glimmermist for another layout, but didn't like the effect so just put it aside hoping i could use it for something, and well this was the perfect challenge for it!!
