July Card Front Swap

Who is interested in taking part in a card front swap?? It's easy!! Every month we will each make 2 themed card fronts measuring 9cm x 13cm (to fit blank Kaiser Cards) for each person in the swap, so if we have 6 people, we make 6 of each card, totalling 12 card fronts.

You then bundle them all up in a plastic sandwich bag along with a stamped (3 x 55c stamps please) self address envelope and post them to me by the end of the month. Once i recieve them all, i will sort them and post them back to you so that you will each recieve 12 card fronts ready to be stuck to a blank card and used!!

So, who is interested? I think we will make the first lot easy, by making a generic floral card and a birthday card. Any questions, feel free to ask. Please add your name to the list if you are in.

Any takers for the card fron swap?? If you think you have too much on, we could start next month with 2 xmas card fronts to tie in with the christmas in july cyber crop. What do you think?? Any takers??

Vick, I'm definitely in but will have to wait until next month. As we are already 1/3 through June and we have so many challanges plus the CC I am going to struggle to get everything done as it is. If you want to start July then I'm in chickie!
(Good suggestion to tie-in with Xmas in July!) Very Happy

If you are, please add your name to the list. If not, Karen and Sue, if you are still interested, do you want to make 2 different cards, so we get 6 each, and just run this with the 3 of us?? Let me know!!

Thanks I just wanted to clarify as I am trying to finish off the June projects then we go away for most of the school holidays. So I won't be able to start them until after that. So as there are just 4 of us. 2 different fronts
but 4 of each. Vicki Can you also PM your address to me so I can send them to you.

Thats right Sharon. 2 different card fronts x 4 people!! So we will all end up with one each of our own cards and 6 different ones. I think that is a good start for xmas!! I've already got one lot of mine made. I whipped them up last night while i was waiting for paint to dry!! If i think of it, i will post a pic tomorrow. Smile

I will PM you all my addy, so you can post them when you are all finished. No hurry tho!! Smile

My card fronts are done! Very Happy

I am pleased with how they came out. I have been experimenting with the "naive" style since I saw some cards done in this style in a mag. I really love the clean, simple look to them and also the white space. (Just like my LO's!)

Funny about that Sue,

I'm working on my Card fronts today as well. I have finished one obviously as some of the ladies liked the one I did last Friday night I went with that one as one of the fronts and then I found one on line today that I really likes so I am madly cutting and folding now and then will be sticking down and hopefully sending them off next week. Can't wait to see what you have come up with. I'm glad you are happy with how yours have turned out. Very Happy

Sharon, click on the "Host an Image" button (the one with the picture & the disk on it). When the box comes up, click on browse to find the file on your computer. Once you've found the right one, click on "host it".
After it has uploaded, another box will come up with 3 options. Copy the code for "image" (the middle one) and then close the box and paste the code into your reply. Your image should then come up in your post. Very Happy
